Zoya Wanderlust |
We are right in the middle of summer, and what better way to celebrate gloriously warm (and okay, sometimes unbearable and stifling) summer days than to wear rich, bright colors on the tips and toes? Zoya comes up with 12 shades of summer in its 2017 summer collection called Zoya Wanderlust. Unlike previous collections, only one name is given to this collection, whereas in the past, two names were given to two sets of sub-collections (they are now simply called Set A and Set B). As per usual, though, the summer collection is divided into 12 shades, but notably, they're not evenly split up into creams and shimmers. They're an eclectic collection of creams, shimmers and glistening flecks.
Swatches of the collection are below, and each color have been swatched under natural (direct sunlight) and artificial light (indoors with flash). Let's dive right into the swatches!

Zoya Sawyer |
Zoya Sawyer |
Zoya Sawyer is described as a soft taffy orange cream. I thought this would make my skintone look muddy, but it's actually very pretty against my warm medium skintone.

Zoya Cora |
Zoya Cora |
Zoya Cora |
Zoya Cora is a beautiful coral cream. Just perfect for summer. This is one of my favorites from this collection.
Zoya Arbor |
Zoya Arbor |
Zoya Arbor |
Zoya Arbor is described as a rich olive green creme. This is a very pretty olive color, and this really applied well; formula is smooth and creamy.
Zoya Scout |
Zoya Scout |
Zoya Scout |
Zoya Scout is a shimmery moss green with gold flecks. I don't think it flatters my skintone, but I am loving the gold shimmer.
Zoya Journey |
Zoya Journey |
Zoya Journey is such a pretty shimmery strawberry red! This would be a perfect pedicure color.
Zoya Sonja |
Zoya Sonja |
Zoya Sonja |
Zoya Sonja is my top favorite from this collection, hands down. I love the smooth creaminess of the formula, and the color is so flattering on my skintone. It is also a joy to apply. It is described as a summery crimson red cream.
Zoya Byrdie |
Zoya Byrdie
Zoya Byrdie is one of the multiple pinks in this collection. It is a very pretty fuchsia cream. I wore this a lot during the past month.
Zoya Esty
Zoya Esty |
Zoya Esty is also a pretty pink, but a Barbie-ish pink cream. Very cute, very girly and very summery.
Zoya Winnie |
Zoya Winnie |
Zoya Winnie |
Zoya Winnie is described as a soft watermelon pink cream. This one is very bright on the nails, and will make a great poolside nail color. Under direct sunlight, this seems almost neon to my eyes.
Zoya Lois |
Zoya Lois |
Zoya Lois is a mid-tone red-based purple cream. Since I am a sucker for purples, this is right up my alley.
Zoya Mandy |
Zoya Mandy |
Zoya Mandy is a shimmery berry pink. The photo above is taken by the poolside, so again, this looks great beside any body of water (i.e. perfect summer color).
Zoya River |
Zoya River |
Zoya River is a beautiful shimmering cobalt blue. Such a head-turner.
Zoya Estelle is still my favorite blue from Zoya, but River is a close second.
All in all, this is a solid summer collection. My favorites are definitely Sonja, Cora, Esty, Byrdie and Journey. Zoya Wanderlust is available on the
Zoya website for $10 a pop.
