Happy new year! I am excited to start the new year with some great makeup sets and products! 2016 is the year where I will be doing a lot more written and video reviews, so stay tuned for that!
Let's start the year with an interesting find. I was able to try a lot of goodies from many companies that offered their holiday sets, and IT Cosmetics Naturally Naturally Pretty Must Haves Eye Set was one of my top favorites. I have the original Naturally Pretty matte eye shadow set from IT Cosmetics with the unique transforming eye pearl, and this time, it is a travel version of said palette, but with really great shades.
As I grow older, I prefer neutral shades with mostly matte crease and outer lid colors, and very slight pearl/shimmer on the lids. This palette truly caters to my preferences. The lighter shades are matte, but it has the Transforming Hello Lights shade that is similar to the Transforming Pearl eye shadow in the original Naturally Pretty palette. As the name states, it transforms the matte shades into pretty colors with pearl.

I am loving how easy the colors glide on the lids. I especially love Brave and Empower, really rich and pigmented crease colors! I never fail to wear shadows when I go to work, and this is my go-to palette. I love the neutral colors that are perfect anytime, anywhere.
The thing I like about the shadows is that because of the Transforming Lights eye shadow, you can go from six matte colors to six shimmery ones, so technically, there are a total of 12 shades in this palette for a $28 price! I think the Transforming Lights option is such a good idea, because it's like an eye shadow version of a glitter topper in nail polish. You can opt to have matte shades, but the Transforming Pearl is just there for your convenience if you need a little shimmer on the center of your eye to keep things radiant and your look fresh.
