I've had the opportunity to review a new (at least, to me) kind of watch, one of those unique-looking wood watches. I admit, I wasn't really looking into wood watches. I've always been drawn to silver or gold-tone or dual-toned metal watches, so I when I was offered to review the wood watch by Jord, I had to look at the website first. When I saw the designs on the Jord website, I actually said to myself, "they look pretty stylish!". I liked how the wood watches have a down-to-earth, casual feel to them, but at the same time, they look classy and timeless.

I chose the Fieldcrest Black for Women - a dark wood finish with a monochromatic black face. I've always wanted more feminine timepieces, but this one looks stylishly androgynous, that I know this would give my outfits an edgy look and feel.
Below are the dimensions and specs of the Fieldcrest Black for Women:
-Deployment Buckle with Push Button
-Scratch Resistant Mineral
-Citizen Miyota Quartz Movement (2035)
-Case Width: 39mm
-Case Thickness: 11mm
-Lug Ends: 49mm
-Band Length: 205mm
-Band Thickness: 20mm
Jord sent me the timepiece with the strap already adjusted to fit my small wrist perfectly.
I love how it looks really nice even when I was wearing a dress. It looks classy and yet sporty. Jord has a wide variety of designs and colors of the wood straps to choose from. If you are not into dark wood straps, they have lighter wood available and different colors of the face as well.
Also, make sure that you keep your Jord timepiece away from moisture. It is splash-proof but cannot be submerged in water.
All in all, I can honestly say that I liked my Jord Fieldcrest Black timepiece. I wear it when I want an edgier, casual and yet classic timepiece to tie my look together. Check out the Jord website and browse their huge collection of timepieces.
