bareMinerals Lasting Line™ Long-Wearing Eyeliners
I was super stoked to try out these new bareMinerals Lasting Line™ Long-Wearing Eye Liners. I've long been looking for pencil liners that create really pigmented, crisp lines just like liquid liners. I also love pencil liners that don't tug on the lids and glide like butter even on shimmery eye shadows.
The new bareMinerals Lasting Line™ Long-Wearing Eye Liners have the crisp lines and pigmented colors that I've been looking for in a pencil liner. Below are my swatches and review of these new pencil liners.

This pencil is in a twist-up tube, but we know that with continuous use, the tip ends up blunt and rounded and not pointed, which is what we need if we want to create the most precise lines. This product has a built-in sharpener to create the perfect point to create those liquid liner-esque lines. If you want smoky look, no problem- it has an ergonomically-angled smudge tip for effortless blending.
I am particularly liking the dark neutrals of the bunch - Absolute Black, Forever Brandy and Lasting Brown. I know that I will be using these regularly to draw a crisp cat eye, or to tightline or to apply on waterline. I also like the pop of colors like Infinite Sage, Endless Orchid and Non-stop Navy to apply on my lower lashline to bring life to neutrals.
The best part is that, true to its name, this is a long-wearing liner. With a good primer, this lasts pretty much the whole day. I hate liners that smudge when you don't want them to, and create raccoon eyes. This liner does not.
The only downside is probably the price, as it is $16 a pop. I suggest you pick up a staple color and try it out. If a liner stays put through much of the day and has a built in sharpener and smudger to create crisp or smudged lines depending on your preference, then the price is worth it in my opinion.
The bareMinerals Lasting Line™ Long Wearing Eye Liner has 8 shades and is available at bareMinerals boutiques and bareminerals.com. It is also available at Sephora, Sephora.com, Sephora inside JCPenney, Ulta, Macy's, Dillard's, and fine spas and salons.
