Spring (and soon, summer) is upon us, and what better way to herald the coming of warmer weather than by wearing cream blushes? I prefer wearing cream blushes during spring and summer because they look more natural, more refreshing-looking. Cream blushes give this "lit-from-within" effect, because it does not look like a cakey blush powder product is sitting on your cheeks. Instead, because it's a cream, it naturally gives off a softer finish, very natural and even ethereal.
Make Up For Ever comes up with new High Definition Blush Cream for spring. There's a wide variety of colors and shades to choose from, but I have two of them to show you- Make Up For Ever HD High Definition Blush Creams in 320 and 210.
Here are my thoughts and swatches on the new MUFE Blush Cream:

Make Up For Ever Blush Cream in 320 is a beautiful warm coral kind of blush. It really gives a beautiful natural "lit-from-within" glow to my cheeks. It's never too crazy pigmented to give me clown cheeks, but it gives a beautiful soft flush of color to my cheeks, as you can see in the photo.
Make Up For Ever Blush Cream in 210 is a beautiful soft pink. It's a great pink if you want a natural flush on the cheeks that gives an ethereal soft pink glow. There's no actual shimmer in the product, but the cream finish makes it look like, as I've mentioned several times, your cheeks are lit from within.
Being cream products, they are not as long-lasting on the cheeks as powder blushes, so I like to set my cream blush with a little bit of translucent powder, then spritz my face with a makeup setting spray to prolong wear time.
All in all, I am a fan of blush creams, particularly MUFE HD blush cream, just because it applies smoothly without any splotchy or patchy areas (hence probably the name HD - no splotchy areas even captured in high definition). My favorite from the ones I have is Make Up For Ever Blush Cream in 320. It totally complements my warm skintone.
What do you think of blush creams? Yay or nay?
