I already posted a Video Review on the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette, along with a review of the Marc Jacobs Love Marc Matte Lip Gel. This time, however, I will be doing a written review of this palette, and some photo swatches as well.
I was able to play with the colors of this palette, which I also discussed and wore in my video review (see link above).
First of all, I gotta say that the packaging is obviously reminiscent of a chocolate bar, since this is the theme of the entire palette. I don't like how it is bulky at the sides, and it is a little heavy. That said, it may not be the most travel-friendly palette I've encountered, but I like how you can have any kind of look from the most natural to the most dramatic and smoky using this palette.
There is supposed to be a chocolate scent to this palette, but I was not able to detect it when I used this palette, which is a good thing since I am very sensitive to scents.

As you can see from the swatches, most of these colors are pigmented and quite pretty. I am not liking the highlighter colors, however. They swatch nicely and look pigmented, but they do not impart a lot of pigment and are chalky when applied on the lids. I am also not a fan of Candied Violet, just because it applies patchy and do not have a lot of pigment.
I do have to say that I am loving the crease and transition colors of this palette. I am especially loving Salted Caramel - it's an amazing transition color to blend the gradient colors together.
I am also loving Semi-Sweet, a beautiful matte medium chocolate brown, Haute Chocolate, Cherry Cordial, Black Forest Truffle and Triple Fudge.
If you don't have anything similar in your makeup collection, if you need a good palette with neutrals, you might want to check this out. If you do have other neutral palettes like Urban Decay Naked, Lorac Pro Palette or TheBalm's Nude'Tude palette, you can probably skip this palette.
As for me, though it has some duds like the highlighter colors and Candied Violet, this is a solid palette. I however would have loved a really nice highlighter color, so I don't need to use another highlighter from another palette.
