Sometimes I feel that my skin still feels oily and grubby even after washing my face. I don't always use toners, but for days when I feel my skin needs extra exfoliation and cleaning, I look for a gentle toner that has natural extracts.
I was able to try the PIXI Skintreats Glow Tonic. It's an alcohol-free skin toner with plant extracts that soothe and hydrate. It gently exfoliates the skin to even out the skintone.
I use the PIXI Glow Tonic after I cleanse my face using a cotton pad. I can see dirt from my face on the cotton pad after I use this toner. Ewww. That means that my face cleanser didn't completely take off all the dirt and grime from my face. This product makes my skin clearer and brighter as it evens out the complexion.
It has the following ingredients:
Gingseng - antioxidant, improves circulation and energizes
Aloe Vera- soothes and hydrates
Witch Hazel- refreshes
Horse Chestnut- stimulates
Fructose and sucrose- brighten
Gylcolic Acid (5%) exfoliates
The only downside that I can think of is that if you are sensitive to scents, this might not be for you as it has sort of a floral scent. I am sensitive to scents but I can use this without any problems.
