I was able to play with some of the shades of the Nicole by OPI Modern Family Holiday 2013 collection. Nicole by OPI has released a Modern Family collection in the past, and I believe that one was an entire set of twelve polishes. This one is a smaller, more compact version, but the colors are indeed very festive and just apt for the upcoming holidays.
Below are the swatches of the Nicole by OPI Modern Family Holiday 2013 and my thoughts on these.

Nicole by OPI Who Red My Journal? is my favorite out of this collection. It's a beautiful festive warm red, and you can see flashes of gold when you look at the color in the shade.

Nicole by OPI You're My Treasure over Who Red My Journal?
Nicole by OPI You're My Treasure is a glitter topper with gold hex, diamond and tiny round glitter in a clear base. It looks nice against a bright backdrop like a red nail polish. I feel though that the glitters are sparse and hard to fish out of the bottle.

Nicole by OPI Aren't Families Grape?
Nicole by OPI Aren't Families Grape? is a beautiful royal purple. It's bright and perfect for the holidays. It has tiny magenta micro-shimmer particles that give dimension to the polish.
Nicole by OPI Late Blu-Mer is a medium blue with beautiful silver micro-shimmer. The silver gives a sort of winter look to the polish that is perfect for the season.
I absolutely love Nicole by OPI Spark the Conversation! It is rather sparse when applied, but I just love how the square holographic glitter looks against any background. The glitters are quite mesmerizing as you can see in the swatches.
I'd have to admit some of the shades in this collection are not unique, but I definitely love some of the colors, particularly Who Red My Journal? and the glitter topper Spark the Conversation.
These Nicole by OPI nail lacquers retail for $7.99 each and are available at select CVS drugstores for a limited time starting November 2013.
