I posted my review on the L'Occitane Immortelle Brightening Moisture Mask Review, and I mentioned how I really loved the scent and texture of the immortelle flower.
I also mentioned in that review that the immortelle flower defies aging- it never dies. It does not wither and it is also called the everlasting flower. I remember this flower as a little girl. This is the favorite flower to place on graves (I know, it's a bit morbid) because this does not fade even when picked.
The essence of the immortelle flower is at the heart of the L'Occitane Immortelle Precious Night Cream.
I have to say that this is probably one of the best winter night creams I've tried. This is very emollient but does not feel heavy on the skin. It pampers my complexion by infusing the essence of the immortelle flower to optimize anti-aging benefits. L'Occitane claims that this product works during the night, leaving your skin feeling smoother and softer, and also helps to reinforce the epidermis and to minimize the appearance of wrinkles.
A little definitely goes a long way. I take a pea-sized amount and dot in on my forehead, cheeks, nose and chin, then massage the product gently into my skin. This is a thicker kind of cream, so I recommend this for use during the upcoming colder, drier months.
Also, the scent is just divine! I am not usually a fan of scents in my face products, but this is such a clean smelling, light, refreshing scent.
