China Glaze Halloween 2013: Monsters' Ball

Halloween is almost here! What better way to celebrate this holiday than to express the darkness of the season on your nails! Every year, China Glaze comes up with its own Halloween collection, and the time has come to feature the 2013 Halloween collection. It's not more than six polishes, but I think this year has some of the nicer Halloween shades that I've seen.

Oddly, though, I didn't see your ubiquitous orange polish. Nonetheless, the shades truly scream Halloween.

China Glaze Bat My Eyes

China Glaze Bat My Eyes is my favorite one out of the entire collection. It's the first polish in this collection that caught my eye, and the first one that I wore. It's a beautiful antique gold glitter in a black base. It's so gorgeous!

China Glaze Fang-Tastic over pink nail polish

China Glaze Fang-Tastic is a clear base with green, pink, and blue glitter. I don't think it's very special as I have a lot of glitters with this color combination.

China Glaze Texture nail lacquer in Bump in The Night

China Glaze Texture in Black in Bump in The Night is beautiful. It does look creepy because of the black color and the textured finish, but the overall effect is very appealing.

China Glaze Texture nail lacquer in Bump in The Night layered with China Glaze Boogie Down (mattified)

China Glaze Boo-Gie Down mattified

This is my first time to mattify glitter and I am now a huge fan! The glitters seem to stand out more with the matte finish. I love Boo-Gie Down, an orange hex with white smaller hex and gold and black glitters in a clear base.

China Glaze Howl You Doin'?

China Glaze Howl You Doin'?
Howl You Doin? is the most sophisticated color from this collection, in my opinion. The nuances are gorgeous. I love the cranberry, blurple glitters in a dark red-black base. Very pretty and perfect for Halloween.

I tried the Glow-in-the-dark polish included in this collection, but it sadly didn't work on me (or at least didn't reflect in photos), so I didn't include it. All in all, I am liking the shades from this collection, especially Boo-Gie Down, Howl You Doin' and my favorite, Bat My Eyes.

Which ones are you liking from this Halloween collection?
