The immortelle flower defies aging- it never dies. It does not wither and it is also called the everlasting flower. I remember this flower as a little girl. This is the favorite flower to place on graves (I know, it's a bit morbid) because this does not fade even when picked.
The essence of the immortelle flower is at the heart of the L'Occitane Immortelle Brightening Moisture Mask.
The Brightening Moisture Mask is an intensive treatment that immediately gives skin a real hydration and brightening bath. I like to use this after washing my face, and applying a small amount on my face by dotting the product on my forehead, nose, chin and cheeks, and blending the product accordingly into the skin. I leave it on my skin for 10-15 minutes, then I wash it off. You can opt to wipe the product off with a tissue (the recommended use), but I like to wash it off, but it still leaves a nice moisture film on my skin that makes my skin look brighter, soft and supple. It is the perfect product to apply before applying makeup, because it makes the makeup look quite good as well.
I immediately feel that it really feeds moisture into the skin. It left my face feeling very moisturized and looking brighter. It is VERY hydrating, so I also use this on the tops of my hands and cuticles to moisturize them. It can be really hydrating, so this product is mostly suited for the upcoming colder months.
I also love the clean scent. I am not usually a fan of scents in skincare products, but this one does not bother me at all and not cloying. I have the huge 4.4 oz tub, but the product feels so luxurious that I use it sparingly because I really want it to last!
The 4.4 oz. is available on the L'Occitane website and Nordstrom for $60.00
