Zoya nail polish collections in (top-bottom): Pixie Dust Fall 2013, Satin, Cashmere
(Media sample)
Fall is around the corner, so many nail polish brands are coming out with their Fall 2013 interpretations. Here is one of Zoya's offerings for fall, their creme collection called Cashmere. I love sparkly, festive shades for fall and winter, but I sometimes yearn for simple, smooth, rich cremes that herald the coming of fall. Here are swatches and my thoughts on the Zoya Cashmere for Fall 2013:
Zoya nail polish in Flynn
Zoya nail polish in Flynn is a nice camel creme. This is obviously perfect for those who want no-fuss nail looks but still want to have nice, presentable nails. This is also great for the office.
Zoya nail polish in Louise
Zoya nail polish in Louise is a dark, rich, chocolate brown. It's not the most unique of shades, so I layer glitter over this to make it look more interesting. However, if you prefer to wear it along, it looks very fall-ish.
Zoya nail polish in Flynn in Hunter
Zoya nail polish in Hunter is a dark green, hunter (obviously) green. It's very festive especially when paired with a red accent nail (or layer red glitter over it).
Zoya nail polish in Sailor
Zoya nail polish in Sailor is a dark navy blue creme. Again, not very unique, but the dark, saturated color makes it very apt for fall and winter.
Zoya nail polish in Pepper
Zoya nail polish in Pepper is my favorite. I love oxblood in nails and fabrics, so this is definitely a must-have for me. It's a beautiful, rich, oxblood creme. Sooo perfect.
Zoya nail polish in Livingston
Zoya nail polish in Livingston looks like the perfect poinsettia color for me. This looks great when paired with Hunter on the accent nail during the holidays. It's also a statement color for the upcoming holiday events.
All in all, I am liking some of the colors in this collection, especially Pepper and Livingston. The formula is great; very easy to apply and the colors are vibrant and perfect for fall and winter. If you are a seasoned nail polish collector, you might find some of these shades to be common and not unique. However, if you are just starting out and looking for staple shades for fall, this is your collection.
The Zoya Cashmere collection can be bought on Zoya.com for $8 each or $48 for the entire collection.
