Maybelline Color Show Nail Polishes in Coral Glow, Mint Mojito, Passionate Plum and Pretty in Polka Swatches, Review

I would have to say that I am really quite impressed with the Maybelline Color Show nail polishes that I own.  First of all, they are very pigmented, very opaque in two coats, and formula is divine - it virtually applies itself.  The best thing about it?  It's one of the most affordable nail polish brands out there.  I was able to try some of the colors from the Color Show line, and unfortunately some of these are limited edition, so you might not be able to see this at your local drugstore.  I am hoping though these will be repromoted at a later date.

Okay, please forgive that glop on my pinkie, but I just have to show you swatches of Maybelline Color Show in Coral Glow.  It's probably in the top 2 or 3 coral polishes that I own, and believe me, I own a lot.  It's this beautiful fiery coral with flashes of gold, it's so amazingly gorgeous and vibrant.

I once did a dotticure featuring, among others, Maybelline Nail Polish in Mint Mojito which is a beautiful mint green cream.  I used Coral Glow to make a pop of color, and four small dots of Coral Glow actually carried and pulled  the entire dotticure together:

Maybelline Color Show in Passionate Plum

Maybelline Color Show in Passionate Plum is a gorgeous shimmery blue.  There is a tendency to show brush streaks, but it is easy to even things out.  It is opaque in two coats.

Finally, Maybelline came up with the gorgeous Polka Dot collection, a bunch of different light bases of black and white multi-sized glitter.  These look so gorgeous.  As a sneak peek, I will show one of my favorite colors, Maybelline Pretty in Polka, a light pink base with black and white multi-sized and multi-shaped glitter.  They look pretty against a bright pink background like that of Nicole by OPI Pros and Confidence (I used two coats of the base color and one coat of the Pretty in Polka.  The glitters are dense and you can easily fish out a lot of glitter in the bottle.
