Bioelements Skincare Review: Oil Control Mattifier and Absolute Moisture Cream

(Media sample)

As I've mentioned in my Bioelements Vitalization Rich Intensity Body Creme review, I was able to try different products from the Bioelements skincare line.  It targets skin issues according to one's skintype, so it's like a personalized skincare regimen that targets your skin's problem areas.

In this post, I will be focusing on the Oil Control Mattifier and Absolute Moisture Cream, my two favorite products from this line.

 Bioelements Oil Control Mattifier

I love the fact that the Bioelements products that are packaged in jars have their own spatulas for sanitary dispensing.  The Bioelements Oil Control Mattifier is a lightweight cream that absorbs oil so it stops breakthrough oil on your face before it shows.  I like my oil blotting sheets because I do get oily and greasy on the t-zone especially in this scorching heat of summer, but I hardly have oilies when I use this product.

It also helps helps make the pores look smaller, and it also blurs fine imperfections.  I also get these benefits from using my primer, except that I get better oil control with the Bioelements Oil Control Mattifier.

The only thing I don't like about this product is that it smells a little chemical-ish, but it doesn't bother me much because the smell is not too pronounced.

Bioelements Absolute Moisture Cream

I really like the Bioelements Absolute Moisture Cream which is especially made for combination skin.  The brand describes this as a "self-adjusting hydrator".  It means that it will infuse moisture according to your skintype, and if you have combination skin, intelligent self-adjusting hydrators balance combination skin's water-to-oil levels, so every area gets the exact amount of hydration it needs.  Now I really don't know how that thing works, but I like the moisture it gives to my combination skin.  It hydrates my skin without looking or feeling greasy.  I don't like very sticky or greasy moisturizers especially in the summer, so this is great for my skin this season.

I was also pleasantly surprised with the price as they are not exorbitant at all.  The Absolute Moisture cream retails for $33/ per 73ml/2.5 oz, and the Oil Control Mattifier retails for $36.00 for 1 oz. jar  and are available on bioelements.com.
