I was quite excited to try out bareMinerals new Power Neutrals collection. This collection celebrates the beauty of neutrals and how they are not just appropriate for bridal work or office setting, but they're also great for easy weekend or even smoky nighttime looks. They are classy and classic colors that will always be timeless and never dated.

I love the gold package theme of this collection. Everything looks posh and quite festive. I especially like the packaging of the 8.0 eye shadows, as they come in this sleek gold palette that comes with an eye shadow brush and a convenient mirror.

One of the items that I was able to try is the bareMinerals READY® Eyeshadow 8.0 in The Power Neutrals palette. It has 8 neutral eye shadow shades that are great everyday neutrals for work, or you can amp them up for smoky neutral looks for night outs.

I've mentioned in previous posts that I am very impressed with the bareMinerals READY line. The colors apply smoothly on the lid, no tugging at all, and the colors are very vibrant. They glide like butter on the skin, and they have good lasting power as well. As you can see in the swatches, the colors are very pigmented. I especially like Schmooze, Exec, Boardroom, and Get Ahead.

I did a look using the shades as shown above. I like how easy it was to blend and apply the colors. The only downside that I can think of is that the eyeshadows are a little on the small side, but the combination of colors in this palette are great. Since these are neutrals, they will go with anything and everything, so I know I will be using this palette often.
