tarte has some really interesting products for summer. They're dubbed as tarte's summer essentials, and I had a fun time trying them out.
One of them is called the tarte park ave princess bronze & glow™matte bronzer & cheek tint. It's an amazing liquid version of the popular and best-selling powder bronzer of tarte called Park Ave Princess. When you take off the cap, you also find a cream blush in stick form. How innovative!
The liquid bronzer is infused with tarte's miracle ingredient, maracuja oil. When you apply it, you can definitely feel the maracuja working, as it feels quite moisturizing and not dry. tarte claims that the liquid bronzers also infused with essential fatty acids and vitamin C to hyrdate the skin.
The blush is a nice addition to this product. It gives a sheer flush of coral-peach color. It is not as pigmented as a powder blush, obviously because it's a cream blush that is supposed to give a very nice, subtle, lit-from-within glow. This is quite travel-friendly as well, because you already have your blush and bronzer in one product, you can just use your clean fingers to apply without the need for a separate makeup brush.
All in all, I am loving this product. I like the ease in application (no brush needed), the sheer but buildable coverage, intensity and pigmentation, the creamy, moisturizing feel of the product, and the packaging and convenience. I really like the 2-in-1 purpose of this product, and I also like the moisturizing properties of the maracuja oil.
