In a previous post, I wrote about the MAC Eyeshadow x4 quad from the All About Orange collection called Rainy Season, where I also posted swatches of the palette and a look using the colors. This entry will focus on the lip products that I have from the All About Orange collection.
As the name suggests, all these shades are orange or have orange-tinted bases. The lipsticks that I've tried are just that. Sushi Kiss is a mid-tone coral cream in the satin formula, and Sweet & Sour is a soft peach in the cremesheen formula. I think the latter is too light on my skintone by itself, so I always layer a lipglass over it, preferably a softer, sheerer shade. Sushi Kiss is a bit more wearable for me because it's darker than Sweet & Sour.
The cremesheen glasses are much more wearable for me. As I'd mentioned in previous reviews, the cremesheen glasses are sheer and less sticky than your regular lipglass. They are sheer mostly because the formula is different from that of the lipglass, it is less sticky and more comfortable on the lips than the lipglass. If you don't like sticky glosses, the Cremesheen glass is the one for you. The fact that MAC created complementary shades of the cremesheen glass to wear in tandem with the lipsticks in this collection meant that MAC really intended these to be layering glosses- not really to be worn alone if you like pigmented lips - but to create a luscious look by layering over a lipstick. Or, if you really don't care for pigmentation especially for the lighter cremesheen glasses, you can wear these alone for a shiny lip look. Staying power of these cremesheen glasses is not that amazing- mostly just 2-3 hours tops, and that is if I am not going to have a meal. The good thing about this product is that it is very comfortable on the lips so I don't mind having to re-apply throughout the day.
I like that these cremesheen glasses are not straight creams but have light-reflecting pearl in them. They make the lips look more luscious and add dimension to the lip look. Imperial Light is my favorite, a beautiful frosted light peach. Double Happiness is a frosted light nude that is pretty wear over a darker lipstick.

Cremesheen Glass Pros: comfortable on the lips, lightweight and non-tacky, beautiful sheer shades infused with pearl
Cremesheen Glass Cons: staying power is not that good, not a good choice if you are looking for pigmented lipglosses
Cremesheen lipstick Pros: smooth formula, nice pigmented colors, good choice for people who love pearl in lipsticks
Cremesheen lipstick Cons: not a good choice for people who don't like the slightest frost finish.
All in all, these are pretty, wearable shades, especially for this summer. They are not too heavy at all, and the orange/coral shades are perfect to go with summery shades like mint green and bright teal.
