China Glaze Texture Nail Polish Collection Swatches, Review

(Media sample)

I was able to try the different colors of the China Glaze Texture nail polish collection.  They are obviously China Glaze's version of the textured polishes, but there are striking differences between China Glaze's Texture as opposed to other brands' textured polishes.  Here are the six shades and my thoughts on these.

China Glaze Itty, Bitty & Gritty

China Glaze Itty, Bitty & Gritty is my favorite shade among all the Textures.  It's a very pretty coral. All the Textures have the same look/texture- which is a gritty, rough-looking finish, but it does not have any glitter or any sparkle like textured polishes of other brands.

 China Glaze Toe-Tally Textured

China Glaze Toe-Tally Textured is a very bright orange texture.  Very summery.

 China Glaze Unrefined

China Glaze Unrefined is a strawberry milk color.  It looks just like any other cotton-candy pink from afar, but the texture makes it totally unique.

 China Glaze Of Coarse!

China Glaze Of Coarse! is a pretty mid-tone blue.  I love that the shade looks very summery and the texture gives it an edgy look.

 China Glaze In The Rough

China Glaze In The Rough is one of my favorites from this collection - a very nice yellow-green texture.  It's almost neon because it's very bright and eye-catching.

 China Glaze Bump & Grind

China Glaze Texture

China Glaze Bump & Grind is a watermelon-y color.  It's very bright and summery.

All in all, I like the texture of the China Glaze Texture polishes - kinda like the texture of cement while being poured from the mixer.  However, I wished that they included variety in the texture - some with matte glitter, some without - in order to keep it from becoming too much of the same thing.  Nonetheless, these are very pretty shades that are just perfect for the scorching summer months that are upon us.
