I was able to try another Glossybox, this time it's the Work That Beauty Box. If you are not familiar with Glossybox, it's one of the more popular sample subscription services where you get a gaily-wrapped package every month filled with travel-sized (or even full-sized) samples. For the Work That Beauty Box, it's a package filled with wellness products. After a long winter, we want to indulge in that long bath or work that tousled curls into life, or bask in coffee-scented body wash to perk up the senses. Here are the items from the Glossybox Work That Beauty and my thoughts on these.
In this box, I found a member-exclusive Le Metier De Beaute Replenishing Daily Solution in a foil packet with a $75 gift towards the purchase of a full-size Replenishing Daily Solution. I suggest this for those with more mature or normal to dryer skin types. It has a very rich, moisture-infused emollient formula that protects and conditions the skin as it rejuvenates and detoxifies. It also has a steep price tage at $225 for a full size 1.7 oz. You can use the sample in this sachet pack to see if you like the product to spend money on it. Don't forget to use the $75 gift when you purchase a full-size.
If you love beach waves for your hair, this product is for you. It's a weightless texturizing mist that fives natural beach waves. You can spray on damp or dry hair from the roots to ends and shape with fingers for a loose, tousled style.
I like that this is a travel-friendly size that I can just place in my tote for quick touch-ups. I also like the clean, fresh scent. (Full size $22.00 / 4.2 fl. oz.)
This is like you used your morning coffee for your body wash. It looks, feels and smells like coffee (no, I didn't taste it!). This is great for those morning showers when you can hardly open your eyes. It gives a jolt of caffeine and mint to invigorate the senses. (Full size $28.00 / 16 fl. oz.)
I LOVE this lip balm. This has a nice lavender scent that relaxes my senses. I mostly use this at night as I get ready for bed. The lavender scent de-stresses me, and the lip balm nourishes the lips overnight.(Full size $10.95 / 3-pack)
TIGI Cosmetics baked blush in Brilliance is hands-down my favorite item in this box. It's a beautiful coral glow blush that gives a beautiful lit-from-within look. I'd say this is similar to NARS Orgasm without the glitter. I also love the glow that typical baked blushes give. This is my favorite blush of late. It looks very flattering on the skin. This is such a decadent, luxurious treat. It smells totally opulent, and even the tea bag packaging is ostentatious. It gives a relaxing, luscious bath experience that will totally relax your senses. I wish I have more of these! (Full size $9.50 / .50 oz)
All in all, this is an amazing box and for $21, I would willingly pay the subscription service just to have these little luxuries once a month. My favorites are definitely the TIGI Glow Blush, the BVLGARI tea bag for bath, and the Honest Company lip balm.
