Here is the last post of a series of entries on the MAC Fashion Sets collection. This time, it's all about the nail lacquers. Let me say that I did not like the application of some of the recent MAC nail lacquers that I've tried, but in the Fashion Sets collection, all of them were quite easy to apply and to even things out. They were not streaky and I like the vibrant color and very creamy finish.
Here are my MAC Fashion Sets nail lacquer swatches:
MAC Nail Lacquer in Ablaze
MAC Ablaze is my favorite from this bunch. It's a gorgeous, vibrant coral red cream. It applies smoothly on the nail and very bright and eye-catching.
MAC Heroine nail lacquer
MAC Heroine, just like its lipstick counterpart, is purple. It's a midtone purple cream that I like because I am such a sucker for purples. It also applies well on the nail and was not streaky.
MAC Embrace Me nail lacquer
MAC Embrace Me is a magenta cream. I have shades similar to this so this is not really that unique in my collection. It is a pretty shade though.
MAC Silly Nail Lacquer
I was surprised with MAC Silly nail lacquer. I thought it would be a dull pink, but it's actually very pretty. This is my favorite from the collection next to Ablaze. It's like a strawberry milk pink and it looks very clean and feminine on the nails.
All in all, I was pretty satisfied with the nail lacquers from the MAC Fashion Sets 2013 collection. The only downside is that the price is pretty steep for $16 each. I would recommend getting only the prettiest and more unique ones if you are watching your budget. I'd definitely recommend Ablaze and Silly for the nail lacquers.

All of these shades are beautiful, a little expensive though.
