Maybelline Color Whisper in A Plum Prospect

(sponsored post)

Spring is here and we usually want a touch of color of the lips during this warmer season.  We want springy shades with a lightweight feel, moisturizing and yet has loads of shine and decent pigmentation.

As I've mentioned before, I've been loving the Maybelline Color Whisper™ by Color Sensational® lip products.  These are lip shines that are a combination of a lipstick, a gloss and a balm.  It has the pigmentation of a lipstick, the moisturizing properties of a balm and the high-gloss of a lipgloss.  I particularly like these kinds of lip products for spring because the high-shine really reminds me of spring and summer (as opposed to the matte lip products of winter and fall).  I was able to try five of these shades, and I like all of them, especially the darker ones.

Wearing Mad for Magenta #95

Mad for Magenta #95 is a very vivid and pretty hot pink on the lips.  I like that it has amazing shine and yet it has good pigmentation.

 Wearing Mocha Muse #20

Mocha Muse #20 is the lightest in my collection.  It has a nice mocha-brown with a hint of rose tint.  It  does not show up much on my pigmented lips, so I use it to infuse moisture and shine on my lips with a touch of color.

 Wearing Made-It Mauve #80

Wearing Made-It Mauve #80

Made-It Mauve #80 is a nice, everyday color that gives a touch of warmth and mauve-pink to the lips.  As with the other Maybelline Whispers, this also has a lot of luscious shine.

Wearing Berry Ready #85

Wearing Berry Ready #85

Berry Ready #85 is not really a berry color, but more of a brownish mauve.  It warms my complexion and is an everyday lip color.

Wearing A Plum Prospect

A Plum Prospect is my favorite along with Mad for Magenta.  It has a really luscious-looking shine, and coupled with the nice plummy pink shade, it really looks great and pretty wearable both day and night.  I recommend wearing these with dewy skin to go with the shiny, luscious lips that just screams spring.

The formula of these Maybelline Color Whispers is great for those who want a lightweight lip color that doesn't look or feel too heavy on the lips.  I especially love the shiny lip look finish, and the wide variety of shades to choose from.  I also like that these are pretty affordable lip products.
