Valentine's Day Look and Tutorial Using Jesse's Girl Cosmetics

I was able to try some Jesse's Girl Cosmetics, and I decided to use them for this Valentine's Day Look. I was envisioning a very girly, romantic look, so this is what I came up with. I used Peek-A-Boo Eye Dust because the shade is very Valentine-appropriate.

I am really loving how beautiful a red Mellow Drama Liquid Glass lipgloss is, but as you can see in the photos, the brush is pretty wonky. I was not able to apply the very pigmented product evenly so I had to use a lip brush. Nonetheless, it is such a gorgeous, shiny red.

I have not done a photo step by step tutorial in ages, ever since I became active in uploading YouTube videos. I think I may have to go back to this kind of posts because I really missed this!

Anyways, here is a step-by-step:

Apply eye shadow base all over lid and lower lashline. Apply a tacky pink base (used MAC paint pot in Fresco Rose). Using a stiff shader brush, apply Eye Dust in Peek-A-Boo all over lid. Add a lighter pink mineral shadow on center of the lid for some contrast.

Using a slightly tapered blending brush, apply a greyish purple shadow on the crease (used Bare Minerals Ready shadow in Romp). Using the same brush, apply Mineralized Baked Powder in Plum Frost on the crease and blend with Romp using a fluffy shader brush.

Like so.

Using Sonia Kashuk blender brush (or any short-haired blending brush), apply a dark matte plum shadow. Using a detail brush, apply a green shadow on lower lashline.

Apply more crease color as necessary.

Apply highlight color on browbone and inner corners. Use a liquid liner to apply liner on upper lashline. Apply a green gel liner right below the wing of the black liquid liner.
