The silvery and pink base swirled and applied on the skin
Left- deep pink hearts (Play it Proper blush); Right- silvery pink base (Frankly Scarlet powder blush)
I have already made a Video Review of my MAC Archie's Girls Collection items, but I have yet to post photo swatches and review of the Pearlmatte Face Powder. I have the Veronica's Blush PearlMatte Face Powder, but I don't have the Flatter Me one, although I have swatches of both which I shall be showing in this entry as well.
Let me say that I love Veronica's Blush just because it goes really well with my blush in Prom Princess which is also part of this collection. Veronica's Blush is actually a combination of two shades from MAC. The silvery pink base is actually Frankly Scarlet Powder Blush, and the deep pink hearts are actually Play it Proper blush.
When swirled together and applied, it becomes a very silver-based pink. I really wouldn't use this as a blush but more of a highlighter on top of my other pink blushes, like Prom Princess. I really like the combination.
Flatter Me has a golden peach base which is actually Shell Pearl Beauty Powder which I own. Here's how the base looks like:
For Flatter Me, they just added coral hearts which are Foolish Me Powder blush. So Flatter Me is obviously leaning coral while Veronica's Blush is on the pink side. Below are swatches:
Swatches: L- MAC Flatter Me Pearlmatte Face Powder, R- MAC Veronica's Blush Pearlmatte Face Powder
Since I already have Shell Pearl, I think Flatter Me looks very similar to the latter, so having it is kinda redundant. I do love my Veronica's Blush, and the packaging is quite pretty.
All in all, these are not very unique colors, but these are definitely collector's items, so if you are into these kinds of collections, these are for you. If you do collect, you might have already similar colors in your stash, but it's always nice to have these kinds of special collection packaging.
