Vera Wang is an icon in the fashion industry, so it's not surprising that she would venture into beauty products to complement her beautiful frocks. Her clothing line is available at Kohls, so it's just natural that her cosmetic products are sold there as well.
I was able to try two of her eye kits - the Accent on Eyes Smokey Plum and Accent on Eyes Neutral Kits. While playing with these two sets, I wasn't surprised that Vera Wang chose classic, clean, effortless shades - these palette of colors likewise reflect the classic quality of her fashion designs.
Let us first take a look at the Accent on Eyes Smokey Plum set:
I am in love with this kit. Seriously. I really like the combination of smoky deep plum and brown for the classic smokey eye. It has two Transforming Shadow duos- 411 has a matte plum and matte greyish lavender. 413 has a gorgeous shimmery plum and a dark matte plum-brown.
As you can see in the swatches, the shades are deep, rich, pigmented, and apply smooth on the skin. I didn't have problems with application or wear at all. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the shades.

I loved how easy it was to apply and blend these shadows. This set is becoming a staple in my everyday eye makeup application.
All in all, I am pretty impressed with the quality of the Simply Vera Wang Tranforming Shadow Duos. The mascara in each of the set is also pretty good. It is neither too wet nor too dry, and it made my eye lash length decent and created the appearance of more lush lashes, without clumping.
