I posted Part 1 of the Nicole by OPI Selena Gomez Swatches, Review a few days ago. Here is part 2 of the swatches!
Nicole by OPI Scarlett
(sunlight)
Scarlett is a beautiful glass-flecked finish of a reddish pink hue. One of the most festive shades in this collection. The finish reminds me of a Christmas ornament.
Nicole by OPI Mi Fantasia over Scarlett
Mi Fantasia is an odd mix. It has very fine green, purple, gold micro-glitter, and very fine bar glitter in the same color family. I think the glitters are a bit too small, but the overall effect is still pretty.
Nicole by OPI Hit the Lights (sunlight)
(shade)
Hit the Lights is a bright canary yellow creme. I know that yellow can be a difficult color to pull off, but this is such a bright and cheery shade, I think it can look great on many skintones. Personally, though, I would most probably wear this layered with glitter or some other textured nail polish rather than by itself.
Nicole by OPI Mi Fantasia over Sweet Dreams (sunlight)
(shade)
I really love this combination of yellow creme and glitter. Sweet Dreams is a beautiful teal, lilac and silver round glitter and micro-glitter in a clear base. I love this color combination, it looks quite feminine and fun at the same time.
Nicole by OPI Pretty in Plum
(shade)
Pretty in Plum is a metallic fuchsia purple. It's not very unique, but it is nice especially if you like plums and fuchsias.
Nicole by OPI Confetti Fun over Pretty in Plum (sunlight)
(shade)
Confetti Fun is the ubiquitous multi-colored glitter in a clear base that I think every brand has a version of. Obviously not the most unique, and I'm almost multi-color-glittered out, but this is still nice if you don't have this kind of glitter yet.
Nicole by OPI Stars at Night over Spring Break (sunlight)
(shade)
Stars of the Night is a holographic bar glitter. I am not a fan of bar glitter especially when used alone and not mixed with other glitter shapes, but this one is actually nice, very apt especially for New Year's Eve parties or some other festive celebration.
All in all, this 14-piece collection has an interesting mix of cremes and combinations of different textures, shapes, colors and sizes of glitter. There are as many glitter top coats as there are creams and metallics, which makes it apparent that Nicole by OPI is aware that glitter polishes are all the rage right now. I am really liking the cremes and metallics, especially Selena, Spring Break and Scarlett, and the glitter polishes are nice as well, but my favorites from the glitters are Inner Sparkle and Sweet Dreams.
