Nicole by OPI Selena Gomez Swatches and Review Part 1

I have 14 creamy and glittery shades to share with you from the Nicole by OPI Selena Gomez collection! For this entry, I will be showing the first seven shades. Here are the swatches and my thoughts on them.


Nicole by OPI Naturally (sunlight)

Naturally is a nice cotton candy pink with very subtle like bluish silver shimmer.  You can definitely see the hidden shimmer out in the sun than indoors or under shade.  It's a nice shade, but a bit sheer.  I had to use three coats to achieve opacity.



Nicole by OPI Inner Sparkle over Naturally (sunlight)

Inner Sparkle is one of my favorite glitters from this collection, just because it's not a straight pink glitter topcoat. It has pink, lavender and gold hex glitter that are really pretty. Glitters are packed denser than most topcoat glitters, and I don't need to fish them out.

This SUCH a pretty color! I normally stay away from oranges and peaches because it makes my warm skintone look dirty, but this did the exact opposite. Selena looks so clean and feminine on the nails. This is probably my favorite Nicole by OPI shade of all time!


Nicole by OPI Kissed at Midnight

Kissed at Midnight is your quintessential silver and gold glitter in a clear base. Pretty straightforward. It's festive and perfect for the holidays.


Nicole by OPI Love Song

I am a sucker for purples and lilacs, so of course I love Love Song.  It's a really nice mid-violet or lavender creme with some sort of hidden shimmer, but it's very subtle.  This is also on of my favorites from the collection.


Nicole by OPI Heavenly Angel over Love Song (sunlight)








In theory, Heavenly Angel could have been a gorgeous flakie topcoat. It's shredded iridescent glitter in a clear base. Upon application, though, it's obvious that the glitter is not dense at all. You would have to fish the glitter from the bottle in order to show up on the nail. Great in theory, but I wished they added more glitter to the bottle.


Nicole by OPI Spring Break





This is such a pretty shade. Spring Break is a bright hot pink creme. This is perfect as a pedicure color. Can't wait to wear this in a few months with strappy heels or sandals.

All in all, I am liking some of the shades in this collection. I really like Selena, which is probably one of my all-time favorite peach shades. The biggest disappointment is Heavenly Angel as the glitter flakies are quite sparse. There are mostly hits but a few misses as well.
