Hello Kitty Say Hello Wild Thing Eyeshadow Palette Swatches, Review

For the Hello Kitty lover and the makeup addict, here is the perfect holiday gift idea!  This limited edition palette is called the Hello Kitty Wild Thing eyeshadow palette.  As I've mentioned in my Video Post: Sephora Gift Ideas, I love the fact that the Hello Kitty packaging is anything but pink in this palette.  I'm kinda pinked out when it comes to Hello Kitty, so the metallic prints with a rose gold bow are so refreshing.

The Say Hello Wild Thing Eyeshadow palette is a two-tiered makeup palette that contains four Charmmy eyeshadows and two neutral base eyeshadows housed in the iconic (and uber-cute) Hello Kitty shaped compact.  It includes a shimmery grey brown, an iridescent peach, a pearlized yellow gold, a pearlized bronze.  In the bottom compartment, it contains a matte pink nude and a matte peach nude.

I really like the shades in the upper compartment.  They are not your usual boring browns, but you can still pull them off as a neutral look.  I am loving the pearlized yellow gold and iridescent peach as lid colors, and the grey brown and pearlized bronze as good crease shades.  The matte nudes are great as an all over wash if you want to even the skintone of your lids, and would also make good highlighters.  I used the shades in this palette in the Video Post: October 2012 Favorites where I also talked about the Hello Kitty Palette, and you can see that the shades are pigmented and smooth on the lids.  I also like that they last pretty well especially with a good and tacky base underneath.

All in all, this is a great holiday gift for the young and the young at heart who are into Hello Kitty and creating a pretty eye look using these shadows.  I am sold just on the packaging itself.  This palette retails for $36 and is available at Sephora stores and Sephora.com.
