Crest 3D White Professional Effects Whitestrips Review and a Giveaway!

I was excited to try the Crest 3D Whitestrips because I tried a pack of this a long time ago, but I don't even remember the results because I started to visit my dentist for teeth whitening instead of just using at-home teeth whitening solutions.  However, I eventually stopped going to the dentist for whitening because even though the results were immediate, I could not bear my teeth's intense sensitivity after the procedure.  I had to pop Advil every few hours because of the  intense pain.  Surely vanity is not worth all that pain?

Even though I felt that the intense tooth pain was not worth it, I still wanted to have beautiful, shiny, bright white teeth.  There are few things more unbecoming than yellowing teeth.  It's a fact of life that simple aging can yellow teeth.  We can take precautions to avoid yellow teeth like avoiding coffee or tea or any beverage that might stain the enamel, but just the fact that we are aging makes our teeth susceptible to yellowing.  Also, it is important to note that if we are not actively whitening our teeth, they are in fact yellowing.

I did a little experiment on how people react to yellowing teeth.  My subject was my husband.  I made my tooth yellow using a temporary yellowing kit, and just talked to my husband without letting him know about what I did.  He was sitting on the couch and I was standing as I chatted with him.  This was what he looked like when I was talking to him:

I was dying from laughter inside but I kept my face neutral. Eventually he asked me, "What happened to your tooth?". That's when I found out that, yes, people DO notice if teeth are yellowing, and they are not too happy to see yellow teeth!

So how do I brighten and whiten my teeth without feeling the intense sensitivity brought about by the strong bleaching properties of in-office dentist teeth whitening?

As to Claim #1, I can vouch for this because I thought that this product would be cumbersome to use, but it was actually pretty easy. After brushing my teeth, I just apply the strips on my upper and lower teeth, folding the strips over my teeth in one smooth, easy motion. It doesn't bother me while I go about my usual routine of using my laptop, reading a book, watching TV or having a conversation with my family. I just leave the strips on my teeth for half an hour and that's it! As for Claim #2, all I know is that these strips do not make my teeth as sensitive as the in-dentist office procedure, which is a huge plus for me.

All in all, these Crest 3D White Whitestrips may not whiten your teeth as fast as the in-dentist office procedure, but they do work and they do make the teeth-whitening experience less traumatic, because the teeth sensitivity is either entirely gone or substantially diminished. I've been using this product for a couple of weeks and I do notice whitening of my teeth, although not as dramatic as the in-office procedure, but still a definite whitening result.
