Cold weather is upon us, and when the weather and air become brutal on the skin, we need a richer moisturizer to nourish dry, winter skin and to protect the skin from the cold, dry air. Let me just say that I am in love with shea butter. I practically adore any shea butter product. I feel that shea butter really moisturizes my skin and protects me from winter itch and dryness. There are many types and qualities of shea butter, but let me say that this particular shea butter from Victoria's Secret just blew me away. Wow. It's one of the richest, most moisturizing and nicest texture of shea butter that I've tried.
I was able to test four products from Victoria's Secret's Shea Butter line. The Body Mist with Shea Butter Extract is so refreshing and great to layer over the shea butter body cream or lotion for a lingering scent. It's infused with nourishing Shea Essence and conditioning Aloe Vera. (8.4 oz/$14)
My favorite product from this line is hands down the Shea Butter Moisture Luxe Body Creme. OMG it is so good. It is luxurious, rich and very emollient. It moisturizes even the cracked heels, and when covered with socks, you awake to the softest feet and heels ever. This is also great for rougher spots on the body like the elbows and knees. I use this all over my body and I mix it with the lotion so the product spreads better on the body. This is also probably one of the best shea body butters I've tried. This line also has three scent variants, and my Shea Butter Body Cream in Luxurious Kiss smells amazing. It has notes of sandalwood and black plum, but it's not too overpowering. It gives a nice scent especially in the morning after shower. I feel so fresh and clean when I wear this. It also contains jojoba butter aside from shea butter. The best part is that it is quite affordable(4 oz/$14).
The Shea Butter Moisture Luxe Body Lotion is a more liquidy version of the body cream. It smells great and pretty moisturizing as well, but of course not as much as the body butter. As I said, I like to mix both the cream and lotion for my entire body. (8.4 oz/$14)
The Moisture Luxe Hand Cream with Shea Butter m is also great. I have it in Luxurious Kiss as well and it really smells so good. This cream is about as rich and emollient as the body cream. This is my second favorite from the line next to the body cream. (5 oz/$14; 2.5 oz/$5)

As I said, all in all, Victoria's Secret's Shea Butter line is amazing. I am loving the texture, the emollient quality and thickness of the creams without being greasy.
