The MAC Primped Out Eye Look Bag Gift Set in Decadently Pink is one of the gift sets from MAC this year under the Fabulousness group. There are two kinds of these look bags- the eye sets and the lip sets. The lip sets each hold a cremesheen glass, a lipstick and a lip pencil with a similar looking makeup bag with animal print on the outside, and lace trimming inside protected with the plastic lining.
The eye sets each old an Eyeshadow Duo, a Powerpoint eye pencil, a mascara and a 275SE angled shadow brush. I personally prefer the eye sets just because there are more items found in the kit, although they are more expensive than the lip sets.
In this particular entry, I am featuring Eye Look Bag in Decadently Pink. It has an eyeshadow duo with Radial Pink and Shadowy Lady eye shadows. I think I already have at least 3 Shadow Ladies from three different palettes, but I think I know why MAC wants this eye shadow included in a lot of palettes. It's matte, so it's great to pair with shimmery shadows. It's a blackened plum, so it's great for the crease or to smokify eye looks. Radial Pink is a powder pink with silver sheen in the frost formula. This looks nice tempered with Shadowy Lady.
Bordeauxline Powerpoint Eye Pencil is my fave- described as a soulful rich plum that is really pretty on the lashline. This is great especially if you are tired of the usual blacks and browns, and it can pretty much go with any color.
The 275SE is a medium angled shading brush that is good both to apply color on the lid, and to apply the crease color. In order to apply your crease color, all you need to do is flip the brush so the angled tip gets into the groove of your eye socket.
I like the Opulash mascara, so I like that they included this in the kit as opposed to any other MAC mascara (except maybe for Extended Play Lash mascara which is one of top faves). The Opulash is a volumizing mascara while Extended Play Lash is a lengthening one, and I need both in my life as I have the sparsest and shortest lashes ever.
All in all, this is a good value and I think somebody who likes to accentuate their eyes would appreciate this. Also, I like the makeup bag instead of the usual clutch or pouch - I think this is a really useful bag and great to stash your makeup essentials in.
