Here is Part 2 of my China Glaze Holiday 2012: Holiday Joy swatches. Check out Part 1 of my China Glaze Holiday 2012 Holiday Joy Swatches first!
Here are the rest of the polishes!
China Glaze With Love (sunlight)
(shade)
This shade is so gorgeous. With Love is your classic red creme with a hint of orange undertones. This reminds me of last year's holiday offering called China Glaze Poinsettia, in terms of the richness of the color and the bright undertones. So pretty.
China Glaze Cranberry Splash (sunlight)
(shade)
Cranberry Splash is a ruby red shimmer. Because of the finish, it does appear streaky at times. Very pretty color but I am not a fan of the formula.
China Glaze Merry Berry (sunlight)
(shade)
Merry Berry is your berry creme. It is a nice deep berry and very fall-ish. The formula looks to me like a hybrid of a jelly and creme, although it is more of a creme than jelly.
China Glaze Red Satin (sunlight)
(shade)
Red Satin is your quintessential blue-based red creme, a perfect pin-up red. Not very unique but is a must-have staple in every nail polish collection.
China Glaze Glistening Snow (sunlight)
(shade)
Glistening Snow is a fine diamond-like silver holo glitter. Very clean on the nails and quite festive.
China Glaze Blue Bells Ring (sunlight)
(shade)
Blue Bells Ring is an icy blue shimmer. I love this shade. This does remind me of winter and glistening Christmas tree balls.
All in all, I think this is a solid collection, and I am especially loving the glitters. I don't really care very much for the fact that there is one too many reds in this collection, although I am in love with Pure Joy, a fiery red glitter and With Love, a red creme with glorious orange undertones. I also love Blue Bells Ring as it is the perfect winter blue, as well as Winter Holly and the fine glitters like Glistening Snow. The cremes were a joy to apply, but the shimmers were a bit streaky, and my Angel Wings were so dry that I had to add at least 15 drops of nail polish thinner. Other than that, all others applied really well and they were opaque in 2 coats.
Note: Media sample was provided by a representative of the brand for consideration. All opinions are completely mine.
