Zoya Ornate is Zoya's Holiday 2012 offering along with the gift set Gilty Pleasures Trio, which features the 18K gold leaf topcoat which I will be featuring in another entry. For now, this is all about the Zoya Ornate which Zoya describes as a combination of six liquid metals (foil finish), one silver holographic / bar glitter and three holographic crystal polishes. I was a little surprised that Zoya decided to just come up with one set of 6 instead of the usual 2 sets of 6 for the holidays. However, I am glad that there are different finishes and textures in just one set, unlike a full set of 6 with either just a cream or glass fleck finish.
Here are my swatches of the Zoya Ornate collection and my thoughts on each polish.

I love Zoya Ziv. It's a beautiful light yellow gold glass fleck foil. It's very festive and eye-catching. I have OPI GoldenEye and they are not similar at all. GoldenEye has a deeper, more vibrant yellow while Ziv is more delicate, a lighter gold. I love the name too.

Zoya Electra is holographic bar glitter in a clear base. I am not normally a fan of all-bar glitter (I like bar glitter combined with round, hex, or other-shaped glitter), but Electra is nice because it lends a different texture to your nail look, and the holographic finish is a plus. It's not my favorite out of the collection, but I don't dislike it. It's pretty especially with Zoya Logan, it gives like a snowy-looking effect to the wintery green.

I love Zoya Logan. I think this is one of my favorites from the collection. I love the glass fleck foil finish with large doses of gold flecks mixed with green. It changes shades at every angle. Very pretty.
Zoya Aurora (sunlight)

Zoya describes Aurora as described as a full coverage, medium sugarplum purple flecked with a high concentration of micro fine diamond holographic glitter. It's a scattered holo versus a linear holo that I prefer, but this is pretty regardless. It really is very holo-y especially out in the sun. I also love the shade- perfect for the holidays.

Zoya Blaze is a mulberry red with fine holographic microglitter. This one's very pretty and festive. I might wear this one for holiday parties.
Zoya Storm (sunlight)

I think Zoya Storm is the star of the collection. Indoors, it looks like black with fine white powdered sugar-like microglitter. Under sunlight, thought, the holographic goodness shines through. It's beautiful either way and I love how the tiny particles really stand out from the black.
All in all, I like this collection, just because there are varied finishes and textures and not just straight creams or all-foils. Sometimes people like more variety in a set, and I guess that's the reason why Zoya deviated from its formula from the past few years of churning out one creme set and one foil set. I particularly like Storm, Ziv, and Logan.
