Prestige Eye Shadow Duo in CD-17 Sisal

I was able to try a bunch of products from Prestige Cosmetics.  I have their makeup brushes which I bought 8 years ago which are still in perfect condition, but I don't think I've tried their makeup before this.  I was therefore looking forward to try their eye and lip products.  For this entry, I used two eye shadow products, their Shadow Duo in CD-17 Sisal and the Eyeshadow Palette in FCE-31 Ready to Wear.

Unfortunately, the Shadow Duo in CD-17 Sisal arrived broken, but I was still able to put it to good use.  it holds a sort of shimmery champagne shade, and a shimmery mid-brown.  Here are some swatches:

I like that this shadow duo has really nice shades that are your perfect everyday neutrals.  The champagne shade is a great all-over lid color, and the brown is a nice crease shade.

The Eyeshadow Palette in FCE-31 Ready to Wear holds 4 strips of colors that work great together.  There's a shimmery champagne, a shimmery greyish lilac, a cocoa shade and a black with tiny silver microglitter.

Here's how they looked when worn together:

I used the champagne shade from Shadow Duo as a lid color, then I used the mid-brown shade in the Shadow Duo, the brown and black in the palette as crease colors.

To be honest, I was impressed by how they all blended well together on my lid.  They did not look chalky and in fact looked really great.  I loved how they blended easily and did not look muddy.  They also lasted a long time on the lids underneath a good, tacky base.

My only gripe is that the Shadow Duo product is probably too soft because it broke easily, but I had no problems with the application and quality.  I love the affordability of the products.  The Shadow Duo is only $4.50 and the palette is $6.25

They are available at ULTA and on www.prestigecosmetics.com.
