After discussing the MAC Holiday 2012 Glamourdaze Extra Dimension Eye Shadow and Skinfinish Review and Swatches, we turn to the lip products.  This year's Colour Collection of MAC Holiday 2012 features 5 lipsticks and 5 lipglasses, and as always, they are mostly color-coordinated, although I found it weird that MAC churned out three pinkish lipglasses that seemed to look a wee bit too similar to each other.

The lipsticks are pretty, and they are encased in these shiny black tubes instead of the usual matte black ones.  I heard from my MAC store that a lot of people are in love with Beauty, a pale cool pink in the glaze formula, and it was sold out within a day.  I am not a fan of cool pinks as they most of the time clash with my warm skintone, but on the right skintone this would look gorgeous.  My favorite is Outrageously Fun, a mid-toned magenta with purple tones in the cremesheen formula.  it looks so pretty on the lips and brightens up my complexion.  Glamourdaze is a midtone creamy plum in the cremesheen formula.  Dramatic Encounter is a deep purple in the amplified cream that looks pretty in the tube but is a PAIN to apply.  It looked very splotchy and patchy in areas of my lips and would not even things out.  Innocence is a soft coral in the frost formula.

As for the lipglasses, three of these are very similar to each other.  Impossibly Sweet is a soft sheer pink with pearl, Pink Fade is a creamy light pink. Talk Softly to Me is a light creamy coral pink.  I think the only differences among these three is that one has pearl, one is a cream, and one has a tiny tinge of coral tint.

The lipglass I was drawn to the most was Deliciously Demure, a soft cool taupe with pearl.  It really gives the lips a nice sheen.  Flight of Fancy is a deep rich purple that may look scary in the tube, but it goes on pretty sheer so it gives a really nice pop of wearable plum on the lips.

All in all, this is a nice mix of shades, but I feel that MAC included one too many light pink lipglasses in this bunch.  I am drawn to Deliciously Demure and Flight of Fancy lipglasses, as well as Outrageously Fun and Glamourdaze lipsticks.
