I mentioned in my tarte Perfect & Treat 6-Piece Maracuja Color Collection Swatches and Review that I am really loving the tarte Maracuja Miracle 12-hour foundation. In fact, I loved it so much that when I was sent the wrong shade, I immediately bought another kit that contained the Medium shade which is my perfect shade. I like this foundation a lot better than the tarte Amazonian Clay foundation as the latter can look a bit too cakey on me. The Maracuja foundation gives this dewy, flawless finish. It gives a buildable medium to full coverage that can really cover imperfections and yet does not look too mask-like. I really, really love the finish- dewy and fresh!

This foundation has more than 5 shades, but I was able to swatch five of them: Fair, Light, Medium, Tan, Deep. You can see how creamy this foundation is in the swatches. Also, the product has great staying power- it did not slide off my face even after 10 hours of wearing the foundation in 108 degree heat. I apply this using my Coastal Scents kabuki-on-a-stick brush and it blends well on the skin and does not dry too fast that you get streaky patches. Since it is made of maracuja oil, it also makes the skin look creamy and bright with a subtle, dewy glow. You can always opt to tone down the dewy look by setting with translucent powder. I also really love the frosted glass with the sanitary pump- looks very chic and high-end!
This is really one of my favorite foundations during summer. Now that it is cooling down, I will still be using this as this gives a nice, dewy finish on the face that my skin will definitely crave for as the cold season kicks in.
