My Lynnderella nail polish collection
Lynnderella in Golden Rules over Illamasqua in Purity
I know that there is so much drama surrounding this brand that many have been turned off in buying these, but I am such a nail polish junkie that I just had to try out brands at least once (or twice, or thrice...). I've always wondered about Lynnderella polishes and I wanted to see if they're as good, better or worse than some of my beloved indie glitter polishes. That's why when they started churning out Buy It Nows on eBay for $20 each plus $10 shipping (as opposed to the $500 per polish that often happens in Lynnderella auctions), I decided to snag a couple of sets. I got a Pick 6 out of 12 and Pick 5 out of 10 sets so I ended up with these 11 pretties.
One thing I can say about these polishes is that there is a chock-full of glitter in each bottle. They did not skimp on glitter, I'll give them that. However, I feel that the bottles were a bit too small for my liking, and obviously smaller than most of the indie bottles that I've tried. However, I really like this particular one called Golden Rules. It's a very pretty gold holographic glitter in a clear base. The glitters have star, round, square, hex and diamond shapes. It looked gorgeous over a light coral/peach shade like Illamasqua Purity, shown here.
All in all, I think these shades are beautiful, but I think the price is too steep for a bottle of glitter. Maybe when I can recover from this dent in my pocketbook, I'll get some of the more unique Lynns, but for now, I'm content with these and my affordable, more reasonably-priced indie polishes.

TEN DOLLARS SHIPPING? wow, and I thought the 20 bucks a bottle was bad, but that's actually 30 dollars a bottle. oh my word!
No it's actually $10 shipping for 5 or 6 polishes.
