I've had the opportunity to try two eye products from Eyeko, a cosmetics company from the U.K. I've tried their nail lacquers and I loved the shades and the formula.  This time, it's all about the eye products.  

I was able to review the Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eye Liner in THIS VIDEO POST, but here is a written review and photo swatches of the product.  I was able to try two types of Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eye Liner, I was able to try the purple which was in my Birchbox July 2012.  However, both the purple and black have the nicely pointed felt tip and the very easy to control pen-style tube.

The Eyeko Skinny liner in Black is just amazing. As I've mentioned in my previous review, I am a fan of liquid liners. Specifically, I am a fan of pen-type, felt-tip liners. I get more control and crisp lines using these types of applicators. The Eyeko Skinny Liquid liner is made in the UK and I've always been impressed with the Eyeko products that I've tried. I have the Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eye Liner in both purple and black are both very pigmented, saturated and draw really defined, crisp lines.  As you can see in the photos above, it draws a really nice cat eye/winged line.

Eyeko has several kinds of mascara.  I was able to try the Skinny mascara, which is supposed to elongate the lashes and nourish it with Pro-Vitamin B that promotes growth.  I have the shortest lashes in the world, so any product that lengthens my lashes even the slightest bit is a winner in my book.

I like the toothpaste-tube-like packaging of the mascara - too cute!  It has a thin mascara brush and the bristles look sparse too, which probably helped to lengthen the lashes.  Of course, the downside is that this does not aid in creating volume for the lashes because Eyeko has the Fat mascara to do that.  The Skinny mascara is specifically for lengthening the appearance of the lashes.

All in all, Eyeko has impressed me again with the packaging and the performance of its products.  I am specifically loving my Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eye Liner and it's one of my go-to liquid liners.  I use it everyday and I love the pigmented, crisp lines and the easy-to-control applicator.
