Estee Lauder Pure Color Nail Lacquer in Nouveau Riche is from the Estee Lauder Pure Color Nail Lacquer Metal Mania collection created by Tom Pecheux, Estee Lauder Creative Makeup Director. The Metal Mania collection dips nails in glam glitters for a modern metallic finish. As you can see, the packaging is the typical Estee Lauder nail lacquer - encased in solid, thick-bottomed glass bottle, it looks really chic and luxurious. Estee Lauder Noveau Riche nail polish has this burnt gold/bronze metallic finish that looks really amazing especially when you look at it at different angles. The color nuances are very complex- it flashes, bronze, gold, brown depending on the angle and lighting. The shades are rich and perfect for fall.

As for the formula, it was pretty easy to apply on the nails, and didn't pool around the cuticles. It streaked while applying the first coat, but the second (or third if needed) coats evened things out.

All in all, the nuances make this a very beautiful shade, and make it worth the price tag. I don't have many of these shifting metallic shades, so I am glad to have Nouveau Riche in my collection.
