Total Moisture
Summer is upon us and we need soothing, light, refreshing moisture creams for our skin. We don't need lotions with cloying scents, or thick and sticky creams. The Vaseline Total Moisture line is great for summer in my opinion because it is non-greasy, lightweight, and fast-absorbing. Vaseline claims that it offers Stratys-3 TM multi-layer moisture complex that infuses moisture at the top, core, and deep down layers of skin. The product has three variants:
Vaseline® Total Moisture® – Clean feeling lotion for healthy soft skin.
Vaseline® Total Moisture® Aloe Fresh – Light feeling lotion for healthy fresh skin.
Vaseline® Total Moisture® Cocoa Radiant™ – Rich feeling lotion for healthy glowing skin.
I am loving the Cocoa Radiant™ the best. It is the richest lotion out of the three kinds, and I really love the subtle scent of chocolate on my skin. Mmmmm! The scent lingers throughout the day, but it's not a cloying scent, just a nice, light chocolatey smell.
Total Moisture® is the regular scent and I remember smelling really bad, chemically-scented Vaseline lotions when I was younger. This one really smells clean and light. No chemical scent at all, so this is a plus. This is not as rich as Cocoa Radiant, but a bit thicker than Aloe Fresh.
I think Aloe Fresh is my favorite next to Cocoa Radiant - it smells like cucumber melon; smells sooo good! It smells clean, fresh, light and very summery. The product itself has a lightweight feel and is not greasy at all.
All in all, this is a good line of summer lotions as they are lightweight and do not have that sticky, greasy feeling that you hate, especially during summer. That said, I would not recommend these for colder months because I believe they would not be able to soothe extremely dry winter skin. However, these are perfect for summer and are staples in my summer bath and body skincare routine. The packaging is great and the size is pretty hefty too - a whopping 10 fl. oz.
