Nail Look: China Glaze Magnetix Nail Lacquer in Cling On
Tuesday, June 5, 2012
Magnetic nail polishes have been all the rage for the past year or so, but it's only now that I'm enjoying them, the reason being the earlier versions of magnets sucked. It's only now that more brands are coming up with at least decent magnets. I love China Glaze Magnetix (I bought all six polishes), but the magnets are a pain to work with. That's why in this nail look, I didn't use China Glaze magnets but Color Club's. I like the round ones that you can attach to the main nail polish cap. The rest are just plain useless to me.
China Glaze Magnetix in Cling On is a beautiful olive green frosty shimmer. The magnetic design makes it look darker because of course of the iron particles. I like Color Club's magnets because they create the design effortlessly. Since using them, I've been getting decent designs out of my magnetic polishes, AND the wear is amazing too. I don't know if it's because of my new topcoat and base combination (which I will be blogging about soon), but these China Glaze Magnetix really have good staying power.
I will be coming up with more swatches of the Magnetix from China Glaze (and other brands) soon!
