Bobbi Brown Miami Collection: Shimmer Cheek Glow and Shimmering Fragrance Oil Review

Bobbi Brown Miami collection

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Cheek Glow in No. 3 Gold

I was able to post a video review on the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Cheek Glow and Long Wearing Cream Shadows. I also posted my Bobbi Brown Miami Collection: Treatment Lip Shine Swatches and Review, and Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadows Swatches and Review. However, this is my first time to write about the Shimmer Cheek Glow. Here are some photos and my review on this product.

The Bobbi Brown Shimmer Cheek Glow in Gold was mentioned in my May 2012 Favorites video. At first glance, the shimmer particles seem "scattered", but when applied on the skin using a stippling or duo fibre brush, they morph into a really nice, natural glow with soft shimmer. I also like the gold sheen because it complements my skintone well looks very summery. It is not an in-your-face kind of sparkle, but more of a light golden glow. It retails for $39 and is part of the Miami collection, which is all about sunkissed skin, corals and nectars infused with gold.

Shimmering Fragrance Oil:

Can you see the light shimmer particles in the oil?

I am really liking this Shimmering Fragrance Oil by Bobbi Brown. It is a limited edition product that gives a shimmering glow that is not in-your-face, but very radiant-looking yet not over-the-top. It contains four essential oils (Olive, Sesame, Avocado and Jojoba) and Vitamins E and C to soften and nourish skin. The fragrance is light but very reminiscent of summer- refreshing and reminds me of balmy summer nights by the beach. You know how body oil sometimes feels greasy and heavy? This one is surprisingly a lightweight oil, neither sticky nor warm in feel. This retails for $39 which is the only downside, as it is a bit steep for a body oil. To conserve the product, I would apply it on areas that the sun or light would normally hit - the tops of shoulders, decolletage, shoulder blades, upper arms, legs.
