This is honestly one of my favorites shower gels lately. Apivita Relaxing Bath & Shower Gel with Honey & Vanilla is a very unique kind of shower gel, a scent that I haven't tried before in any bath product. It has honey and cocoa butter to soothe and hydrate skin, but it also has a hint of vanilla and ylang-ylang to calm and relax the senses. No, this is not a strong lavender-scented wash to make you fall asleep, but it really just soothes the nerves and makes you ready to face the day (or go to bed).
I usually shower in the mornings, and this relaxes me but not really lull me to sleep. I like the richness of the product, unlike other washes I've tried that are like a liquid version of soap but without much moisturizing properties. As you can see in the photo, it looks thick and not just a clear gel. It has honey and cocoa butter which helps to keep the skin supple especially in a dry climate like ours.
Apivita is a Greek company and was founded in 1979. It was the first Greek company to create holistic and natural bee-based beauty products. It has a wide range of skin and bath products, and I was glad I was able to try their body wash. Instead of using water in their body care line, Apivita uses organic witch hazel infusion to enhance antioxidant and soothing action.
