Bare Escentuals' BUXOM has come up with the new Big & Healthy Cream Polish that is slightly different from its original Buxom lip glosses. It is a creamier lip plumper and gloss that is bereft of shimmer or glimmer. Yes, this does not have shimmer and is just straight on cream, but it is a little bit on the sheer side especially the light ones. This is still technically a gloss and not liquid lipstick where you expect a lot of pigment.

It contains hyaluronic filling spheres that infuse lips with moisture for a creamy look and to plump the lips. Vitamins A and E help keep the skin supple. I like that this product is parabens- Sulfates-Phthalates-GMOs-Triclosan-FREE.

The packaging is nice- it comes in those same large Buxom tubes but with a classier frosted glass look. I really like the frosted glass effect!

I have four of the shades and I really like them all. They glide quite easily on the lips and give a very subtle sheen since these don't have shimmer at all. They are straight creams and they really look nice and pretty - neither too sticky nor too watery, so staying power is good.

These really tingle a lot as they are lip plumpers. I do notice a slight difference in the size of my lips (they made them a bit fuller), but the tingle is a little bit too strong for me. However, if I apply a lip balm and lipstick under these Buxom Big & Healthy lip creams, they don't tingle as much as there is a protective layer or two over my lips.

Over all, I am liking the range of colors, as well as the very pretty packaging. I would love for Bare Escentuals to just tone down a little bit of the tingling sensation (just like the Marvelous Moxie line - review coming up!), and I will just be a happy camper with these Buxom lip creams.
