Swatches:

Nude Peach, Nude Pink

Bobbi Brown comes up with two new blushes that are muted shades of pink and peach as part of the Neons & Nudes Collection. These are the two shades that are universally flattering and suit a wide range of skintones. Nude Peach is a beautiful muted peach with subtle gold shimmer, and Nude Pink is a muted matte neutral pink. What I like about Bobbi Brown is the no-fuss, simple but elegant presentation of the products. Simple peach, simple pink tones, and even the names of these blushes are pretty straightforward. However, despite the simplicity, these are classic shades that can take you anywhere, anytime of the day, from the boardroom to the beach to the bar. I don't think you can go wrong with these shades.

What I also like about these blushes is that they are quite buildable. You can use a light hand or use a duo fibre brush to apply the sheerest wash of color for that lit-from-within look, or you can amp it up using a dense blush brush. However, even if you pack on the color, the muted shades will not give you clown cheeks.

Pros: Applies like a dream; not splotchy or patchy; buildable color; classic shades that you can use anytime, anywhere

Cons: If you have a large blush collection, the shades might not be too unique; colors might be too muted for dark skin.

These retail for $24 each and are available January 2012 at all Bobbi Brown counters and www.bobbibrown.com
