Let me say that I am really loving this product. Kat Von D's Foiled Love lipstick is a new formula from the brand characterized by a smooth slip and metallic foiled shine. I like the quote printed on the lipstick box that says, "Metallic voltage for your lips". There are six shades available at Sephora, and is part of Sephora's Hot Now Volume 8 products. The one I got was Oh My Goth. It is described as a metallic deep amethyst with iridescent micro glitter.
The texture is great. It glides like a dream on the lips and does not fee too waxy nor too dry. It also lasts a good length of time on the lips and does not budge even through a meal.
The color is really saturated; smooth, pigmented. The light-reflective particles infused in it give a sultry shine on the lips. It also does not contain parabens so that's a plus for people who don't like preservatives in their products.
As for the packaging, I love the pop of color at the base of the tube so you can actually see the shade of the product prior to use. I also like the rose tattoo outlines on the tube itself. So pretty.
The only downside is the prize. It retails for $18 for a 3g/0.11 oz of product. I really like the formula, though, and if I really like the shade, these two qualities can justify the price of the lipstick.
