I've reviewed these two skinfinishes in my MAC Fall Colour Collection swatches and review, but I am posting clearer product photos in this entry. I collect mineralize skinfinishes and I believe I now have around 40. I keep them in two trays that I found at Target and featured in My Blush Collection and Storage entry:
some random items in one of the trays
Why do I like mineralize skinfinishes? I love the glow they impart and how they give a radiant finish to the skin. It de-flats the complexion and makes the skin look younger because of the glow. However, MSFs have different colors, shades, finishes and texture. Here are the two MSFs we shall focus on today.
Lightscapade, Porcelain Pink

Porcelain Pink, Lightscapade
I used to own Lightscapade that I got from the Danse collection, a 2006 post-holiday collection. For some reason, my Lightscapade from that collection looked prettier than the one I got from the MAC Fall Colour Collection 2011.
Lightscapade from the 2006 Danse collection
The old Lightscapade has beautiful prominent blue and pinkish veining. So pretty. However, the old and new Lightscapade more or less look the same on the skin- they impart a pretty bluish-whitish glow to the skin that really perks up the skintone.
Porcelain Pink has a peachy-pink glow that is great for that pinkish sheen that we all crave.
I think Lightscapade is the more popular of the two, but both look great on the skin in their own way. I actually like both and don't have a particular favorite. As I said, I am a sucker for MSFs so I am attracted to virtually all of them. I even have Naked You which is probably the most hated MSF ever because of the chunky glitter, but I don't mind.
Note: Media sample was provided by a representative of the company for consideration. All opinions are completely mine.
