Simple Plum Look and Tutorial Using Tarte For True Blood Palette
Friday, August 5, 2011
Here is a look and tutorial using some of the shades from the Tarte for True Blood. It's a very simple look that I didn't even add falsies, but you can of course to add some drama or oomph to your eye look.
Here is a step by step. All products Tarte unless otherwise stated.
Apply an eye primer of your choice on your lid and lower lashline. Using a fluffy shader brush, apply MAC Fresco Rose paint pot on lid.
Using a shader brush like the MAC 239, apply Waitress (a sparkling pink champagne) on lid.
Using the Sonia Kashuk blending brush, apply Werewolf on outer lid. Blend harsh edges with the MAC 224.
Using the same Sonia Kashuk brush, apply "V" (sparkling crimson) on outer V and crease.
Using the MAC 224 brush, blend harsh edges.
Using a big fluffy brush, apply The Light (shimmering warm ivory) on browbone and inner corners. Using the dual-edged liner brush from Tarte, apply emphasEYES Amazonian clay waterproof shadow/liner in Blackened Plum. Apply MAC Opulash Optimum Black mascara. For more drama, you can opt to wear false lashes.
Tightline using a creamy black pencil liner. Apply a flesh colored pencil liner on waterline (used MAC Chromagraphic pencil NC30). Ausing the Sonia Kashuk small detail brush, apply "V" on lower lashline.
