Double Feature 1 features a bright yellow gold (veluxe pearl) and pinked up chrome purple (frost). I like the bright yellow in this duo, very fresh and summery!

Double Feature 2 contains a bright lime (veluxe pearl) and frosty deep grey (frost). I am very drawn to the bright lime shadow; reminds me of that yellow green shadow in the Tempting quad. The grey makes for a nice lower lashline liner or crease color.

Double Feature 3 contains a mid-tone teal (matte) and deep chocolate (satin). I am glad this duo does not contain anything shimmery or frosty. I don't think I own any matte teal, so this is a welcome change. The deep chocolate makes for a nice crease color, and the texture would also be a great bridal shade.

Double Feature 4 is a deep forest green (veluxe pearl) and a mid-tone ochre brown (matte). My review is mixed on this one because I am in love with the deep forest green, but loathe the matte ochre brown (ewww).

Double Feature 6 is the only completely neutral duo that I got. It has a light grey taupe (matte) and a mid-tone bronze (veluxe pearl). I don't like the grey as it literally disappeared into my skin. The mid-tone bronze is nice and good for the lid or crease/outer V.

Double Feature 7 is composed of a bright fuchsia (frost) and a cool black (satin). Both colors are gorgeous and great to pair with each other.

All in all, these duos are great for no-brainer combinations. If some of these are too bright, you can opt to use a fluffy brush to apply the shade sheerly on your lid, then use the darker color as a liner. My favorites are Double Feature 2, 3, and 7. The texture of these are great - very smooth, buttery, good pigmentation. I like that MAC eliminated the loathed Lustre formula in these duos, but kept the variety by including mattes, veluxe pearls, frosts, and satins.
