You have probably heard by now that MAC Cosmetics is coming up with a Bloggers' collection called
MAC Bloggers' Obsessions. I am thrilled to have been a part of this collaboration with MAC. I was able to participate in a
tour of the MAC production facilities in Markham, Ontario along with eight of the best beauty bloggers out there. I created a MAC lipglass called
Sonoran Rain. I posted entries about
my inspiration behind Sonoran Rain lipglass, and a
step-by-step account of the Sonoran Rain lipglass creation. I also posted some
skin and lip swatches of Sonoran Rain. However, I found a nail polish that is quite close in shade to my creation, and it is the discontinued
OPI Smok'n in Havana:

OPI Smok'n in Havana nail lacquer with MAC Sonoran Rain lipglass
Notice that they have the same coral red with gold pearl, albeit
Smok'n in Havana has more brown/copper undertones. They look pretty similar though so I swatched them side by side, so as to provide a bit more perspective on the
Sonoran Rain lipglass shade. For those contemplating on purchasing Sonoran Rain, I hope you found this helpful!
Note:
Sonoran Rain lipglass was provided by the manufacturer as a press sample. I did not receive monetary compensation in creating
Sonoran Rain lipglass.

Holy crap, that colour is really gorgeous! I think I'm going to ask someone in the US to CP me this lipglass now.
