I was able to try the new Viva Glam Gaga 2 that goes out in stores today. I am liking these beige-colored ones way better than the light cool-toned pinks of the first Viva Glam Gaga.
Review and lip swatches after the jump
Lipglass, lipstick on NC30-35 skin
The lipstick is described as a light warm beige in the amplified formula. I'd thought at first that I wouldn't like this because it looked like it gave me concealer-lips. The formula is creamy but it washed me out a bit, I think:

Then I tried the lipglass. Much better! It is described as a light neutral pink beige. I like the pink-tinged shade as this prevented my lips from becoming too concealer-like:

It's not as brown as Flesh from the Mickey Contractor collection, but Viva Glam Gaga 2 has definite pink tones which I love.
Viva Glam Gaga 2 lipglass over VG Gaga 2 lipstick
As I had said, at first I didn't like the VG Gaga 2 lipstick, but I liked how it looked after I layered the lipglass over it.
All in all, I am liking this Gaga version better than the first one. The first was too light and too cool of a pink. The warm tones of this new duo complemented my skin better. This would be perfect with dramatic or smokey eyes, and I can't wait to try that combination out.
The Shades Of U Rating: 4.3 out of 5 stars

Really nude colors! I'm not sure they will suit me though....but I love the color on you!
They look like the colour of mud to me. I never understood the nude lip, I think only people who are very very fair or very very dark can pull it off. For those of us in the middle, I think it makes us look sick. At least the lipglass looks promising but I'm still going to be staying away from it because I'm convinced that it'll make me look dead. I much prefer Viva Glam Cyndi (lipglass and lipstick) to the Gaga ones, at least they were a lot more wearable.
